Burj Khalifa

Not long after such a spectacular opening, Burj Dubai or Burj Khalifa's visitors' deck is closed (it's been a couple weeks now!). What a shame, especially that my parents were visiting and wanted to go there. Hmm, I'm wondering who's lost his job cos of this.....

I read in a paper that Burj Dubai (which stands for "Tower of Dubai" - very original name....) will open its doors on December 2, which is National Day in UAE.

If you want to find yourself close to not-finished-yet-but-already-iconic Burj Dubai (the highest building in the world) then look no further. Head to Souk Al Bahar where beautiful surroundings compliment the tower. The place is not so popular yet, so you can have a quiet and relaxing meal in one of the cafes overlooking Burj Dubai.
