It's unreal to see Dubai's places so empty. Few days ago I went to Madinat Jumeirah (last time I visited it maybe 4 months ago) and couldn't believe that it's so abandoned. Some tourist were hanging around souq streets, but restaurant weren't as full as usually. Hmm, I think that now, during summer and Ramadan the best thing I can do is to stay home, rent some DVDs or buy bunch of books and wait for better, cooler times.

Abandoned Dubai
It's unreal to see Dubai's places so empty. Few days ago I went to Madinat Jumeirah (last time I visited it maybe 4 months ago) and couldn't believe that it's so abandoned. Medinat Jumeirah is a fairy-tale place. Architecture is inspired by old arabic designs, and you can feel the atmosphere of old souq (except prices which are more touristy than bargain, but the quality is better than some places else). Also, make sure that you have a meal in one of the waterfront restaurants from where you can see iconic Burj Al Arab.
