Mirfa beach festival

As promised yesterday, some photos from Watersports Festival on Mirfa beach. It was nice, but... maybe it was just the end of it, or I don't know, but it felt like "much ado about nothing" (sorry).The kites looked great on the water and in the air, but it all looked a little bit unorganized...

More Marina

Dubai Marina

Marina district can be described quite simply: high rise towers and then little gap between then - man-made marina. I think that if I'm to move out from my place, that would be my dream location to live in Dubai!

I met this little kitty close to souq in Bur Dubai a few weeks ago , but I'm sure that now when the temperature is so high, all of them hide somewhere...

Bastakiya Nights

Another arabic interior  - Bastakiya Nights restaurant; they offer delicious kebabs selection, and some good aubergine dish. Definiately it's worth to pay them visit.

Mint cooler

Mint cooler - the best is from Basta Art Cafe. Great drink if you want to cool down after exploring Bastakiya.

Sun lounger

Another option if you get tired of shopping at the Textil Souq - your own palm tree and a chair :-)

45 C degrees is rather normal temperature now in Dubai. Shade is much sought after.

Creek is lovely colourful by night, and still busy:-)

Middle East feel

This room has got truly arabic feel - low table and sofas, and great mix of fabrics. It's great for hot days, too, as you're sitting directly under wind tower.

Shallow water

I just love a low tide! I always go on a shallow water where you can sit, lay down, relax and cool down.

Big Boys Toys

Replica of Lotus Super 7 on Dubai roads - as you can imagine, the car draws everybody's attention. So, if you have some extra pocket money :-), buy yourself a toy like that - you won't go unmissed.

Textil Souq

In Textil Souq you can find huge selection of different, very colourful fabrics, though some of them are pretty kitchy...Still, there's loads of fun hunting for a right one.
